Chapter Two discussion
In chapter 2 what i found interesting was that Leopold only cares about profit to gain money and power. He is using Stanely's good intentions and honest ideas to get into Africa. And once he gets in he intends to do what he wishes rather than follow through with Stanely's pure intentions. I liked how the author said Leopold was known as a "ambitious theatrical producer", who made a very impressive speech which sparked people's attention but Leopold is simply just waiting for his chance to get into Africa and go back on what he says he will do, modernize Africa, and will do what he wants to do.
